René Sauzède created REXO in 1930, a company specializing in the manufacture of lawnmowers and chainsaws. His son Pierre took over in 1947 and gradually diversified the company, going so far as to produce karts equipped with Rexo chainsaw engines in the early 1960s, which then won numerous races throughout France.
In 1960, he also took control of ROUYER, which specializes in manual tools.
In 2001, REXO created RC PRO whose activity includes the manufacture and marketing of cutting chains and manual tools. It is the son-in-law of Pierre Sauzède, Jean-Paul Vinet who takes over the management.
On March 23, 2018, Philippe Geeraert took over RC PRO and decided to continue the company’s activities to develop its offer.
In July 2019, the company returned to its historical corporate name of REXO…
